Lindsay Hovis, LICSW
Lindsay Hovis is a Clinical Social Worker who graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Bridgewater State University in 2011. She has worked in a multitude of treatment settings including individual outpatient therapy, day treatment, in home therapy, inpatient psychiatric treatment, residential treatment, and emergency services. For over 7 years, Lindsay has worked full time as a social worker for the Massachusetts Department of Mental health. She has extensive experience working with adults struggling with various mental health issues including major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, Post traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorders, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorders and more. Lindsay is trained in evidenced based treatment approaches that are scientifically proven to be effective in treatment of mental illness including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Lindsay believes that recovery from mental illness is possible. She provides a safe, non-judgmental and warm space for her clients to openly express their inner most thoughts and feelings. She provides clients with the tools to cope with and overcome their illness and lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Lindsay is very passionate about her work and will make every effort to help you combat your illness and achieve the life you want.

Cash options are always available ranging from $150 for initial assessment and $100 for a 45-minute session.
Cash payments for Family Therapy ranges from $150 for initial assessment and $125 for a 1-hour session.
