I am a Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in social services and mental health. I have worked with adults, children, and families suffering from and being impacted by emotional distress. 

I began my clinical career as a crisis clinician, offering support to individuals going through a mental health crisis. Helping people navigate through adversity, emotional pain, and discomfort helped me mature as a clinician and individual and taught me how to motivate best and bring hope to treatment and people's lives. Subsequently, I transitioned to work with adolescents and adults admitted to inpatient psychiatric units. Helping people regain hope and find meaning through adversity was rewarding and helped me become more resilient. These experiences opened career paths that have shaped my life and vocation as a helper and healer. One of those paths led me to work with individuals diagnosed with terminal illness. Working amidst grief and loss and witnessing individuals during this very private phase of their lives, and seeing their efforts to integrate this reality was very humbling.
