You’ve Done the Work. Now It’s Time to Heal What’s Still Holding You Back.
Private Trauma Therapy Intensives for Leaders and Professionals

You’ve built a life, achieved your goals, and learned to manage your emotions. Yet old wounds may still influence your relationships, confidence, and sense of safety. You don’t have to keep repeating the same patterns or wondering why the past still feels so present. Through personalized, trauma-focused therapy, you can work toward lasting emotional relief, greater self-trust, and the freedom to move forward with confidence.

Take the First Step: Explore whether a private therapy intensive is right for you.
You’ve Built a Good Life.
So Why Does It Still Feel So Hard Inside?
From the outside, you look like you have it together. You’re capable, responsible, and successful in the roles that matter to you. You show up for your family, lead at work, solve problems, and handle what life throws your way. People see someone strong and dependable—someone who can be counted on. You’ve worked hard to build the life you have, and you may have become so good at holding everything together that few people realize how much effort it takes to keep it that way.

Deep down, you are emotionally exhausted from the years of taking care of everyone else and putting your own needs aside. You may even feel disconnected, anxious and stuck in patterns you desperately wish to change.

You may have done the work and spent years processing trauma, healing parts of you and breaking cycles to build the life you want, but there is a deeper layer that hasn’t been addressed.

You don’t need to be fixed. And you aren’t looking for someone to listen to to your story, again. You are ready for something different.

Intensive Therapies
Disconnection

You feel anxious and detached, even with those you care most about.

Therapy Intensive Forgewell Solutions
Reactive

You recognize your reactions and responses often feel disproportionate to the situation.

Forgewell Solutions Intensive Therapies
Exhausted

Years of pressure to hold everything together creates deep exhaustion and burnout.

Personalized. Focused. Restorative.
Therapy Intensive gives you something more than weekly therapy. It gives you the space to stay with the work as it unfolds for a more therapeutic flow. What does that mean? Meaningful and accelerated change without distractions.

In one to three days, you can begin to understand what’s underneath the patterns that have kept you stuck, develop practical tools for moving through what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with yourself in a deeper way—opening the door to renewed confidence and possibility.

Therapy Intensives can address months worth of traditional therapy sessions.

  • Reconnect with yourself and begin to see yourself with compassion and possibility.

  • Feel more at home in yourself, with greater trust and confidence in your body and inner knowing.

  • Understand what is happening beneath the surface to lead with confidence and strengthen relationships.

  • Bring awareness to the patterns that no longer serve you and make space for change.

How Intensives Work
A structured, safe and immersive therapy experience to finally relax and allow yourself to be unburdened.
STEP 1
Pre-Intensive
Assessment

You will complete a pre-assessment and one-on-one call to clarify your goals. Together, we will define the most important items to address and create a personalized roadmap that fits your journey and pace.

STEP 2
Intensive

Across one to three days, you’ll step outside the pace of traditional therapy and into a focused, immersive experience designed to create the time and space for deeper work—away from the noise and demands of everyday life.

Together, we’ll draw from trauma-informed approaches including Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Integrative Hypnosis to explore what lies beneath the surface, uncover the patterns shaped by your experiences, and reconnect you with yourself in a deeper way.

STEP 3
Integration

The work doesn’t end when your intensive does. You’ll leave with a personalized 45-day integration plan, including follow-up sessions and resources to help you carry the work forward and make lasting changes in your everyday life.

Hi, I'm Karen Peabody
Karen Peabody, Intensive Therapy, Forgewell Solutions

I’m Karen Peabody, LICSW and I specialize in trauma-focused therapy for adults who understand their history but still feel stuck in patterns they cannot seem to change.

I work with highly capable professionals, leaders, parents, first responders, and others experiencing the lasting effects of complex developmental and relational trauma. This may show up as anxiety, hypervigilance, perfectionism, people-pleasing, shame, relationship difficulties, emotional reactivity, avoidance, low self-trust, or feeling disconnected from yourself.

If you are ready to explore a deeper approach to trauma healing, I invite you to reach out to see whether we may be a good fit.

I do this work because I believe people deserve to feel at home in themselves, not defined by the wounds and experiences they’ve carried. There is something powerful about watching someone begin to release the old stories that shaped how they see themselves—the belief that they aren’t enough, that they can’t trust themselves, or that they must always be strong to be worthy.

As those burdens begin to lift, something shifts within them. They begin to see themselves with greater compassion, trust their own voice, and experience a confidence that comes from within rather than from what they accomplish or how others see them. That kind of change is why this work matters to me.

My Intensive Offerings

I offer private, focused trauma therapy intensives for individuals who are ready to go deeper than traditional weekly therapy allows. These immersive experiences provide dedicated time and space to focus on the issues that matter most, without the distractions and interruptions of a typical therapy schedule.

My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, Brainspotting, hypnosis, and guided imagery, allowing treatment to be tailored to each person's needs, goals, and nervous-system responses.

My style is calm, compassionate, direct, and results-focused. I believe effective trauma therapy involves more than understanding what happened—it involves helping the mind, body, and emotional system process what has remained unresolved.

My goal is to help clients develop greater self-trust, clarity, confidence, emotional freedom, and possibility so they can move forward with meaningful and lasting change.

If you are ready to explore a deeper approach to trauma healing, I invite you to reach out to see whether we may be a good fit.
